First off, Puretalk is a Fantastic Company with great service. We have recommended Puretalk to many Friends and Family who also love it along with its price. We also love that it's Veteran owned and run. We found Puretalk listening to the great one Mark Levin and I believe on Dan Bongino's show. My main feedback and or question is, Would it be possible for Puretalk to look into possibly partnering with T-Mobile as another option to AT&T?
I'm asking because T-Mobile is currently partnered with Starlink by Spacex to use the upcoming Starlink Direct to Cell phone service. I believe this will be huge for most cell phone owners and also the companies who offer it. Not to mention vets will really appreciate it. I would be more than willing to pay a higher fee for some sort of Starlink option available thru Puretalk. Or would it also be possible to contact Starlink directly and see if Puretalk could get a contract directly for Starlink data to said Puretalk phone accounts and maybe have existing carrier contracts for anything thru cell tower?
We love Puretalk and would really love to get that service thru you rather than T-Mobile or any other big carrier that will offer it and I have no idea when or if AT&T will be offering it. I'm sure your Legal team and existing contracts would dictate a lot of this but just a thought. Starlink and Spacex also seem to have a openness to small companies and the little guy, I'm sure they would be open to some sort of discussions if your current contracts would allow it. Just some thoughts and feedback I wanted to share with you.
Full disclaimer: I have no connection or affiliation with any of the mentioned companies either past or present. Well other than Spacex I guess. I have been a huge fan of theirs over 10 yrs now and I have bought a lot of their tshirts, hats and merch in that time. Oh and I believe I used to have T-mobile 10 or 15 years ago. :) Keep up the great work over there at Puretalk!

Mostly good, but less than ideal at times. I've been a PT customer for a lot of years, and I have stayed, because when I do have to reach out to customer service, I always get a human and the experience doesn't make me want to scream or cry. Having said that, sometimes there are annoying glitches that just don't go away easily. With unlimited calls and texts there should never be a time that the phone says you don't have minutes for a call, but it has happened to all of us. I have been given the reason several times, but that should just not happen, and being unable to make a call because the system thinks that I have already used my multi-thousands of minutes it thinks I have is no good. And, if that happens on a weekend I am really in a spot, because CS has only weekday hours. This used to happen to my daughter all the time. It always has required a call into your CS department to fix it.
One time in the past you changed something about the hotspot system, and rather than automatically sending us the update to fix our phones, we had to have trouble with our phones repeatedly before I had the time and desire to call CS to get the update on our phones to be able to use of our phones as hotspots again.
Sometimes we are the only people around with lousy coverage, and that can be pretty frustrating as well. Recently I needed CS and had hoped to do an online chat for the issue, but that is no longer an option. I hate calling companies, and will always first look for online troubleshooting or chat help, but all your webpage does now is sell. That's a change that seems like it's for the worse.
All in all, you still have us, because the price is so good and because your CS doesn't make us want to give up. I have family that have been using a different no contract service for quite a while, and they are happy. I decided to answer the review request email, because I don't hate PureTalk, and I would like to give you a chance to keep me. Thanks for asking.

Hello, Maria! We regret to hear about your experience with PureTalk thus far. Please accept our apologies if you received anything other than optimal customer service; this is our top priority. While your plan does include unlimited minutes, the system does not recognize an infinite number; therefore, we set it at 5,000 minutes. We find that number works for most customers. Our Support Team is available through our Contact Form at https://www.puretalk.com/contact and on social media sites Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter) for a live chat. You may also contact our Technical Support department by dialing 1-800-768-4360 for further assistance. Thank you for your feedback, as it always helps us improve the PureTalk experience. -C.H.

For the first time I needed some help from Pure Talk customer service about problems I was having with my phone and wanted to talk to them about the problem. You may have all your people in customer service from the United States but when calling customer service I was told there would be a cost. What value is that? While we like PureTalk, older people need to reach out for help once in a while. And for you to charge extra for that is disappointing. Do we need to Look elsewhere. Cannot afford to be nickeled and dimed to death.

When I decided to change carriers, I was looking for a company that is more focused on customer satisfaction than they were about being the biggest and most powerful. I like the fact that you don't use the money I pay to support causes that I don't support. The more I read about what my previous carrier was using my money to support, the more I thought it was time for a change. I did my research and found that PureTalk was the right choice. You support veterans and that is very important to me. Our veterans and their families have sacrificed so much for this country that it makes me proud to know that my money is going to help those families that have sacrificed so much for all of us.
The only issue I have had with my service is dropped calls I receive at my residence. I am a bit off the beaten path and signal strength has always been sketchy. I am considering the purchase of a signal booster to remedy that problem but overall, the service has been admirable especially for the lower cost. Your customer service is much more responsive than any of the big dogs and have been very helpful when I had any problems. Thank you for being the best service provider I have ever had.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently made the wonderful decision to switch my phone service to Pure Talk, and I am delighted to share my stellar experience with this outstanding company. From start to finish, Pure Talk not only provided exceptional service but also demonstrated its commitment to excellence as a Veteran-owned company.
The customer service representatives at Pure Talk were not only courteous and knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate about assisting their customers. They guided me through the process with a level of care and attention that truly sets this company apart. Switching phone service providers can be a bit daunting, but Pure Talk made it a breeze. They took care of everything, ensuring that the transition was smooth and stress-free. The process was straightforward, and I felt confident that my phone lines were in good hands.
As a Veteran-owned company, Pure Talk embodies the values of dedication, integrity, and service. Their commitment to delivering top-notch phone service is evident in every aspect of their business. It's heartening to support a company that honors and serves those who have served our country. The icing on the cake is the incredible amount of savings Pure Talk has brought to my monthly expenses. Thanks to their affordable plans and competitive pricing, I now save a substantial $73 dollars a month on my five lines without compromising on the quality of service.
In summary, Pure Talk has proven itself to be a true gem in the phone service industry. Their Veteran-owned status reflects their dedication to excellence, and their service is nothing short of exceptional. If you're looking for a reliable, cost-effective, and customer-focused phone service provider, look no further than Pure Talk. Thank you, Pure Talk, for your outstanding service and for your commitment to both your customers and our nation's Veterans.
Here are the steps to ensure a smooth transition while bringing your old phone number with you to Pure Talk. Please make sure to follow these instructions carefully: Update Your Phone: Ensure your phone is running the latest iOS version for optimal performance. Obtain Transfer PIN: Contact your current provider and obtain your Transfer PIN. If you are coming from Straight Talk, you can text "NTP" to 611611 to receive your Transfer PIN. Check Carrier Lock: Navigate to Settings > General > About on your phone and check if "Carrier Lock" is set to "No SIM restrictions."
Verify ZIP Code: During your initial phone setup with your current carrier, they might have your ZIP Code from that location. If you've moved since starting their service, make sure to use your old ZIP Code during the transfer process. eSIM Compatibility: If you plan on using eSIMs, connect to Wi-Fi for eSIM functionality. Utilizing eSIMs can save you money, so consider using them if possible. Avoid Updates During Calls: To prevent call interruptions, avoid updating your phone while talking with customer service. This will ensure they can contact you back without any issues. Remember to have your EID#, IMEI#, and IMEI2# ready (as found in Step 3) to facilitate the transfer smoothly.
By following these steps, you can enjoy a seamless transition to Pure Talk with your old phone number, and rest assured that you'll be in control of your service without any complications. Happy switching!

We had a severe thunderstorm with a power outage earlier this week. Once the power went out our phones dropped off 5G and went to LTE and would not work in any manner - not cool! We could not call, text, or pull up any radars or data of any kind. When I called to get my pin to port out no one even asked why we were changing carriers!

Hello, Todd! Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the service disruption during the recent power outage. We understand how frustrating it can be to lose connectivity, especially during a storm.
Our network is designed to be resilient, but severe weather events can sometimes impact cell service. In this case, the switch to LTE from 5G was likely an automatic failover mechanism to maintain some level of connectivity. While calls and texts should still be possible over LTE, data access may be limited.
We apologize that you were unable to access data services or complete calls during the outage. We are constantly working to improve our network's performance and redundancy in such situations.
Regarding your port-out PIN, our representatives typically inquire about the reason for a customer's departure to better understand how we can improve our services. We apologize if this was not the case in your interaction.
We value your business and hope you'll reconsider your decision. If you're open to it, we'd be happy to discuss any specific concerns you have about our service and see if we can find a resolution that meets your needs.-C.H.

The unlimited service is not really unlimited because they cut it off at a certain point and you have to call and ask for the slow data to be restored. Now they're not even answering their customer service line, had to leave a message. Seriously doubt I will get a call back.

Hello, Linda! Thank you for reaching out about your recent experience with our unlimited plan. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the slowdown in your data speed and the difficulty connecting with Customer Service.
Our unlimited plans offer 60GB of high-speed data, but after exceeding that limit, data speeds are reduced to 256KBPS. We understand this can be frustrating, especially if you haven't been able to reach customer service to have it restored.
We're also working to improve our call center wait times and appreciate your patience.
In the meantime, you can also check our online self-service portal to upgrade your service plan at any time to have access to additional data. We also offer add-on data, which may be purchased by logging into your Account Portal and selecting the Add-ons tab. We apologize again for the trouble and look forward to getting you back to enjoying unlimited talk, text, and data. -C.H.

We were paying over $450 monthly to AT&T for 8 devices. I heard about PureTalk on talk radio, called the company, and immediately switched to PureTalk. I disconnected one device and with 7 devices, now my monthly bill is less than $120. I've recommended PureTalk to friends & family and will continue to do so.

I love being able to talk to an American in America when I need tech support! I also love feeling valued by the people I give money to each month for the privilege of having cellular service. Pure Talk's only shortcoming so far is in their international roaming. I am currently in the Czech Republic, and I have no cellular service, which really hamstrings me! I travel internationally often, and I also do not have cell service in Belize, which really seems off to me, as it is so close to the US, the national language is English, and they have a stable government. Please get with it, Pure Talk!

We were weary of dealing with AT&T and no customer service. We’ve switched to PureTalk, an American owned company based in Georgia. Porting our numbers and purchasing a new phone were both great. While the wait for a person in Customer Service was over 10 minutes, there was an American who understood English answering my questions. This company has American values and supports Veterans. Our kind of folks.
